Air Plant Weddings: The Air Plant Bouquet
Air plants are the perfect wedding plant. They are so versatile, and can be used in bouquets, tablescapes, boutonnieres, as favors, and much more! The best part: long after the festivities of the wedding day are over you can continue to enjoy their beauty as they grow and eventually bloom!
We've compiled some of our favorite inspiration for ways that you can incorporate air plants (Tillandsia) into your wedding bouquet. Air plants can work with any wedding style, whether it is vintage, boho, beachy, rustic, modern, DIY, edgy, or earthy! Here are some of our favorite air plant bouquets:
The Beach Wedding:

The Rustic Wedding:
Pair smaller air plants with cotton, dried seed pods, crespedia, and hints of greenery tied up with twine or burlap, and you have a beautiful rustic DIY bouquet.

The Vintage Wedding:
This bouquet is simple, with its two large xerographica air plants and a few florals amongst them, tied with a simple lace ribbon. A pretty juxtaposition between the plants and the vintage truck.

This bouquet is one of the most beautiful ones that we have seen! Amongst the fiddlehead ferns, thistles, dusty miller, and berries, sits a very majestic xerographica air plant. Swoon.

The Winter Elopement:
Who says you can’t have a bouquet when you elope? This bouquet, with cotton, dried berries, and a whimsical xerographica, beautifully complimented the boho style of the bride and the stark Icelandic landscape where the couple eloped. Perfection.
P.S. The xerographica is a perfect plant for bouquets when
you are traveling, because it won’t wilt in transit!

With their tones of greens and teal, these beautiful bouquets full of textural florals, air plants, thistle, succulents + trailing jasmine are perfect for this edgy green wedding.
