XL Baileyi is in bloom currently.
The Tillandsia baileyi is a unique-looking air plant characterized by its tall, slender shape and thick, tubular "sea creature" like arms. It is very adaptable to different environments and will display purple tones at the edges of its leaves. It prefers light shade. This air plant is a great variety for beginners, as it is fairly hard and requires minimal maintenance.
*Make sure when watering to shake out any excess water from amongst the leaves, as any water left in their bulbous bases can cause rot.
